Coral Springs Teen Bicyclist Struck by Car

A Coral Springs teen was knocked unconscious and rushed to the hospital after being hit by a car.

The teen boy was hit by a car Friday night at approximately 10:00 p.m. Police said he was riding his bike in the 10800 block of Royal Palm Boulevard.

The unidentified teen was unconscious and barely breathing when the Coral Springs paramedics arrived at the scene.  The teen was rushed to Broward Health North and is in critical condition according to the police.

After the teen was hit, the driver of the car stayed at the scene while police arrived.  The police are investigating the accident and are urging anyone who witnessed the accident to contact the police department at 954-344-1800.
